Boots’ Twitter account mock Prince Harry over claim he put ‘Diana’s cream’ on his penis

Boots has taken their opportunity to try and boost sales off the back of Prince Harry‘s eye-opening revelations – by mocking him over claims he put cream, that his mother Diana would use, on his frostbitten penis.

Excerpts of Harry’s new autobiography, Spare, have swept the nation as the fallout following his official and acrimonious exit from the Royal Family continues to send shockwaves around the world.

In the book, Harry recalls an amusing tale where he falls victim to an unfortunate yet painful case of frostbite after a 200-mile Arctic charity walk.

The challenge saw Harry walk to the North Pole alongside four ex-servicemen who sustained injuries in Afghanistan, and their efforts raised £2million for the Walking with the Wounded charity.

But the Prince came out the other side with a sore wound of his own, and resorted to drastic measures to try and ease his problem.

Harry explained how his father, King Charles, was “sympathetic” to his issue, having spotted frostbite on Harry’s ears and cheeks. Though it was somewhere else which was causing his son more bother.

Relaying his experience of standing alongside brother William at his wedding to Kate Middleton, Harry’s account reads: “While the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn’t. It was becoming more of an issue by the day”.

Explaining his attempts to cure himself, Harry continued: “I’d been trying some home remedies, including one recommended by a friend, she’d urged me to apply Elizabeth Arden cream.

“‘My mum used that on her lips, you want me to put that on my todger?!’, ‘It works Harry, trust me’.

“I found a tube and the minute I opened it, the smell transported me through time. I felt as if my mother was right there in the room and I took a smidge and applied it down there.”

Fans have been left stunned by Harry’s candid admission, while others were left feeling traumatised. However, not long after his tale became public, Amazon had run out of stock of Elizabeth Arden cream online.

Spotting their opportunity, Boots conjured up a clever post in response that has left followers in stitches. “With temperatures predicted to drop next week, don’t forget to stock up on your trusty Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream,” their official account tweeted.

Harry has shed some more light on the episode when he conducted an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show earlier this week. “The problem was – firstly, it didn’t turn into icicle,” he said, adding that he had since made a full and welcomed recovery.

He continued: “The context was these amazing veterans were doing a walk to the North Pole. They had all the training – I had none. And I turned up thinking ‘how bad can this be?’

“It’s only the North Pole. It’s only minus 35 degrees,” Harry said: “I’ve got the salopettes, I’ve got the jacket, I’ve got the warm stuff. I’ve got all of the things that I need.

“But what I didn’t have was what I had when I actually went to the South Pole which was a c*** cushion.”
