Arsenal ace told he can be worth up to £200m and compete for Ballon d’Or

Arsenal ace Martin Odegaard has been told he can be worth up to £200million and compete for the Ballon d’Or in the future.

The Norwegian playmaker has become one of the Gunners’ most important players since making his loan move from Real Madrid permanent in the summer of 2021. Less than two years on, he is now the club captain and has provided 14 goal contributions in 25 appearances across all competitions this season.

Former Arsenal defender and two-time title winner Lauren has even tipped Odegaard to become one of the best player’s in the world in the coming years.

Speaking to FairBettingSites, he explained: “Odegaard was not a cheap player, but he has been great and still has more to show. If he continues to improve, he can be a £100m or £200m player in the future.

“I can see Odegaard compete for the top individual awards such as the Ballon d’Or, the performances of the team are helping him to grow.

“In the future, if Arsenal win the Premier League, then perform well in the Champions League next season, I believe Odegaard will be among the best in the world.”

Odegaard joined the Gunners from Real Madrid 18 months ago, signing for a fee of £30million after impressing in 20 appearances across a short-term loan deal.

He has now played 85 times for the club, scoring 17 goals and providing 13 assists for Mikel Arteta’s side. The 24-year-old has been integral to Arsenal’s title charge this season.

Last weekend’s win over Manchester United has left the Gunners five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table after 19 matches as they go in search of a first league title since 2004.

Lauren was a member of the Invincibles side which won the league that year, the second of the two Premier League titles he won with Arsenal.

He also won three FA Cups and two Community Shields across seven years in north London as well as scoring 10 goals from full-back in 241 appearances.
