Will Ferrell has been spotted drinking a pint with fans in a pub before cheering on Hollywood pal Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham team.
Wrexham were gearing up to face Wealdstone on Saturday afternoon, and ahead of the match, movie bigshot Ferrell was seen casually sharing a drink with the club’s faithful at the Turf Pub. The A-lister looked right at home as he ditched the glamour of Hollywood to rub shoulders with Wrexham’s supporters in the drinking establishment.
He appeared to be deep in conversation with one fan while a slew of fellow Red Dragons enthusiasts necked their pints. The pic, taken by a fan named Jord, resonated with supporters who gave Ferrell’s impromptu appearance a thumbs up on Twitter.

One fan wrote: “Class.” While another chimed in: “Love this.” Then a third added: “Awesome.” But it’s not the first time Ferrell’s thrown his support behind Wrexham – he was also present alongside Reynolds and David Beckham to witness Wrexham crash to a 1-0 defeat to Bromley in the FA Trophy final at Wembley last season.

Ferrell’s interest in Wrexham comes after he previously refused to rule out buying a stake in Reynolds’ Wrexham side whilst planning his first visit to North Wales. He told the talkSPORT when asked if he’d invest in the club: “You never know. I do want to attend a Wrexham match though.
“I talked to Ryan about that, he said he’ll give me ‘not great seats, but some seats’. So I look forward to heading out there.” But luckily Ferrell wasn’t in town to see Wrexham’s agonising exit from the FA Cup at the hands of Sheffield United in the fourth-round replay.
The Red Dragons were on the verge of a fifth-round clash against Tottenham after clinching a 3-3 draw with the Blades in their first clash. However, their fairytale was brought to an end when United won the rematch 3-1.
