Palace working on ‘solutions to keep the peace’ between Harry and William

The palace is trying to smooth relations with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in time for King Charles‘ coronation according to a source.

Officials are reportedly trying to focus attentions on “reconciliation” between Harry and his brother Prince William.

This comes after the release of Harry’s book, Spare, which shared details of an alleged argument between the pair.

A source told Us Weekly: “The longer the feud continues, the less likely there’ll be a reconciliation.

“With the coronation just a few months away, appropriate actions need to be taken imminently.”

The source added that the institution is trying to spark a rekindling in Harry and William’s relationship in time for 6 May.

But they face an uphill battle, with their relationship at an all time low following many damning revelations coming out of Harry’s record selling memoir Spare.

The source said: “The palace is trying to come up with solutions to keep the peace and form some kind of reconnection and unity between William and Harry. It’s now or never.

“The coronation is a time to celebrate, and no one wants this dark cloud hanging over the festivities on such a significant occasion.”

Among the allegations in the book was Harry claiming his brother called the Duchess of Sussex “rude” and difficult” in 2019 with William then allegedly “grabbing” his brother by the collar and knocking him to the floor.

The palace has flatly refused to comment on any of the details in the book while William declined to answer when asked last month whether he’d read it.

“William feels that Harry is all smoke and mirrors and is not to be trusted,” a previous source told Us Weekly.

It is also claimed William believes the book to have been “a massive breach of trust” and that he is now just “trying to move on with his life.”

Harry meanwhile says he still hopes to one day reconcile.

“Forgiveness is 100 percent a possibility,” he told ITV in January.

“I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back.”

He was tight-lipped on whether the would be attendance at his father’s coronation.

“There’s a lot that can happen between now and then. But, you know, the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they are willing to sit down and talk about it,” he said.
