Love Island viewers beg for movie night as they insist one boy is LYING about his Casa Amor antics

‘Has he forgot he’s on TV?’: Love Island viewers beg for the return of Movie Night as they insist one boy is LYING about his behaviour in Casa Amor

Love Island fans were left begging for the return of the show’s iconic Movie Night segment following Sunday night’s episode.

Viewers insisted that Ron Hall is lying to the girls about his behaviour during Casa Amor, with only one way for him to be caught out.

The Financial Advisor was accused of ‘egging on’ the boys and prompting them to be disloyal while they were away from their partners last week.

But when he was confronted on the behaviour by partner Lana Jenkins and pal Samie Elishi during the episode, Ron stuck to his guns and assured that he did nothing of the sort.

Unconvinced, many fans took to Twitter to insist that he was pushing the boys and isn’t being truthful about his behaviour – as they beg for the scenes to be played back for the villa to see for themselves.

Nothing of the sort: During Sunday night’s episode, he was seen assuring Samie Elishi that he had her back during Casa Amor – denying he had ‘egged on’ any of the boys to recouple

In scenes shown the evening prior, Samie had headed outside of the villa with Claudie Fogerty and Jessie Wynter to chat with dumped Casa Amor bombshells Lydia, Cynthia and Layla.

And as the girls dished the dirt, the latter trio informed the girls that Ron had been ‘egging on’ their partners to get to know the new girls.

Shocked by the news, the original girls were left unhappy as they returned to the villa with the newfound information, filling in the rest of the girls upon their arrival home.

Lana was quick to tell Ron that despite staying loyal in Casa Amor, he wasn’t in the clear with all the girls.

Seemingly shocked, he insisted that he hadn’t done anything of the sort – pulling Samie for a chat later on to clear the air.

He began: ‘I am very chill with this situation because I am very comfortable with the way that I have acted and I can, hand on heart, tell you that I did not egg on any of the boys.

‘You know how much I think of you and I said to the boys at the start that if Tom does recouple, then he’s a donut. He likes you a lot.’

Samie hugged it out with Ron as she appeared to believe him, but fans weren’t quite as convinced.

Spilling the tea: In scenes shown the evening prior, Samie had been informed by Casa Amor bombshells Lydia, Cynthia and Layla that Ron had been telling her partner Tom Clare to recouple

Bad books: After being told about the chat, Lana Jenkins was quick to tell Ron that despite staying loyal in Casa Amor, he wasn’t in the clear with all the girls

Denial: Clearing the air, Ron pulled Samie for a chat to explain that he was ‘comfortable’ with the way he behaved, and would never egg the boys on

During Casa Amor, Ron was seen having a chat in the villa with Tom, who was weighing up whether to recouple with new girl Lydia or stick with Samie.

Talking with the footballer, Ron said: ‘As much as I love Samie and everything else, how does a girl like that resist all the boys putting it on her.

‘Like, I don’t wanna put it in your head that she is lipsing everybody but I’d be very surprised if she hadn’t been open to getting to know people and doing certain things. I can’t see her coming back on her own. ‘

He continued: ‘I know it’s hard not to, but I genuinely wouldn’t deep it bringing Lydia back because If I was in your shoes, I would definitely be protecting myself. You could bring her back and then literally just focus on Samie’.

Fans remembered this moment too as they caught out Ron via Twitter, begging for the return of Movie Night – which, last season, saw the islanders watch back moments from the villa on a large screen.

‘The only person I care about getting caught out at movie night is RON lying about telling Tom not to recouple,’ tweeted on viewer.

Another shared: ‘Ron must be used to lying on the outside. This is the second time he’s lied so confidently and effortlessly. Movie night will be pepper for him!’

‘Movie night/Twitter challenge better reveal EXACTLY how Ron was telling Tom to recouple because Samie is too hot to stay single. Insecurity in men is actually terrifying,’ echoed a third.

While one viewer added: ‘I swear Ron has forgotten he is on tv because we all seen him egging the boys on (sic)’.

What really happened: During Casa Amor, Ron was seen having a chat in the villa with Tom as he weighed up whether to recouple with new girl Lydia or stick with Samie – with Ron suggesting that he go for Lydia

Out him! Unconvinced, many fans took to Twitter to insist that he was pushing the boys and isn’t being truthful about his behaviour – as they beg for the scenes to be played back for the villa to see for themselves

During the previous season of Love Island, the boys and girls gathered at two different tables as a large cinema screen was brought into the garden.

They were given quiz questions to answer in two teams, with the correct team getting to choose a clip to watch back from their time in the villa.

Exposing exactly what they had been up to, done and said behind each other’s backs, the segment certainly stirred up the villa as a whole host of new drama was reignited.

While it also included clips from Casa Amor, as the boys and girls got to see for the first time what their partner’s had said to the bombshells while they weren’t there.

Love Island continues at 9pm on Monday, available on ITV2 and ITVX.
