A school pupil in France has stabbed their teacher to death.
the killing is understood to have taken place inside the classroom in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
the incident is understood to have taken place at around 10am with a 16-year-old pupil understood to have produced a knife from his bag.
He then attacked the teacher, reportedly during a Spanish lesson, who passed away from injuries sustained during the incident.
Pyrénées-Atlantiques posted about the incident on Twitter, where it was explained that “police are on site”.
Early reports claim that the boy suffered from “psychiatric disorders” and had claimed to be possessed.
The teacher is understood to have been in cardiac arrest by the time emergency services reached him after sustaining a knife wound to the sternum.
