Chelsea fans ‘can’t wait for Edouard Mendy to return’ after Kepa howler vs Tottenham

Chelsea fans are desperate for Edouard Mendy to return after Oliver Skipp fired home for Spurs.

As the two London rivals clashed in the Premier League on Sunday, Chelsea fans couldn’t hold back as they fumed over Kepa Arrizabalaga when he spilt the ball moments before Skipp’s strike.

The Spanish goalkeeper was berated for clumsily spilling Emerson Royal’s low shot, with Enzo Fernandez picking the ball up and making a poor clearance. The ball fell into the path of Skipp who fired home from just outside the 18-yard box, with the ball ricocheting off the crossbar and hitting the back of the net.
