Roy Keane left Laura Woods stunned with his “sexy” comment during Man City’s 3-0 FA Cup win over Bristol City.
The pair were covering the clash on ITV when Keane startled his co-host with his riveting description of Kevin De Bruyne’s thunderstrike. City were 2-0 up courtesy of a Phil Foden brace, and De Bruyne wrapped things up with a belter from 25 yards out in the 81st minute.
De Bruyne’s been out of action since City’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, and Keane for one was delighted to see him return with a bang. When Woods asked him for his opinion on the Belgian’s belter, Keane oozed: “I love watch him, love watching him live again.

“I think it’s the little details. He does right in terms of his decision making, weight of pass. He’s obviously got a goal in him. He is world class, world class, and some of the stuff we’ve seen tonight.
“Again this goal, even Jack does really well here, just the weight of pass is perfect. And this is just pure quality. I said it when we’re watching, it’s sexy football, just the weight of pass from Jack.

“There was no doubt in my mind when he got in that position he was going to score. It was like a tap-in to him. Pure quality, love watching him.”
It wasn’t a response Woods expected from the fiery critic, and she insisted even De Bruyne would’ve been shocked by Keane’s ode to him. She quipped: “What I enjoy as well is that De Bruyne will go home, he’ll turn on the telly, watch the highlights and wonder how Roy Keane described it.
“And I don’t think he would have expected you to say sexy, but here we are.” Keane’s been in a buoyant mood since old club Man United won the Carabao Cup with a victory over Newcastle, and the Red Devils can add to his joy if they get past West Ham in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday night, as they push on for an unprecedented quadruple.
