King Charles in ‘all-out war’ with Harry and Meghan after unleashing ‘provocative move’

King Charles’ decision to evict his youngest son Prince Harry from his Windsor home is a signifier of “all-out war”, a royal expert has claimed.

Daniela Elser has explained how the latest move from the King has demonstrated an intensification of the ongoing spat, even describing it as a “nuclear option”.

It’s been reported that no more than a day after Spare hit the shelves, Charles started the ball rolling in his operation to get the couple booted out.

Writing in news.com.au, Daniela explained how despite a seemingly calm reaction to Harry’s Spare, “behind-the-scenes Charles was taking uncompromising action against his loose-lipped son and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex”.

Even though it now seems the couple have until after King Charles’ coronation to get their things and be gone, initial reports claimed they would have just a matter of weeks to leave.

But beyond just the eviction alone, the details of the move make the whole removal of the royal pair so much more dramatic.

Daniela said: “Not only had the Sussexes repaid the $4million plus in Sovereign Grant money spent renovating the property and only last year renewed their lease, but this is hard line axing given that only six months ago His Majesty used his first address to ‘express his love’ for them.

“And it’s a provocative move that could well spark a new and increasingly messy stage in the ongoing stoush between Buckingham Palace and the royal émigrés.”

Harry and Meghan are understood to have been kept in the dark about who would be taking over the home, reports the Telegraph.

Despite doing the place up in 2019, taking it from five grounds workers’ homes and turning them into a single gaff, the Duke and Duchess were simply told their UK base was to be given to “someone else”.

That someone is now believed to be Prince Andrew who is reportedly “resistant” to the idea of having to leave his larger Royal Lodge mansion.

Despite the bad news, Meghan and Harry appeared in LA shortly after news about Frogmore broke with big smiles on their faces, Daniela notes.

She said: “In these shots do not appear cowed or red-faced.

“Rather, it looks much more like that they are signalling that they have no intention of taking this humiliation from Charles lying down on their 1,000-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets.”
