The couple were married by Monaco’s mayor George Marsan and they then had an informal garden reception in the Prince’s Palace.
They went on to have a more lavish affair later on – marrying at Monaco’s Cathedral, where Marie was seen dabbing her eyes, overcome with happiness as she pulled up in a white Rolls Royce.
The bride’s dress for the religious ceremony was created by Atelier Boisanger.
The dress was made of Zagar and Chantilly Lace, while according to their designers the dress also took 300 hours of delicate embroideries.
