Tottenham could confirm Ange Postecoglou’s appointment in the next few days, with Celtic eyeing up West Ham boss David Moyes as his replacement.
The Scottish champions are reportedly resigned to losing the Australian to Spurs, who have suffered several embarrassing knockbacks in their quest to find a permanent replacement for Antonio Conte.
Former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann and current Feyenoord manager Arne Slot have both ruled themselves out while chairman Daniel Levy opted against rehiring Mauricio Pochettino, who has now been installed at Chelsea.

They now appear to have turned to Postecoglou, with The Scottish Sun reporting that the 57-year-old could be appointed as early as next week. Spurs are said to have kept their council out of respect to Celtic, who are looking to complete a domestic treble by winning the Scottish Cup. The Hoops face Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the final at Hampden this weekend.
Following that match, Spurs hope to tie up a deal for Postecoglou, who is on a rolling one-year contract, meaning no large compensation fee will be required to prise him away from Parkhead.

With Celtic chiefs said to be ready to lose their manager, they have reportedly drawn up their own wish-list with Moyes at the top.
Despite leading the club to the Europa Conference League final, it has been a poor season for the Hammers in the Premier League. Therefore, it would not be a surprise if both Moyes and West Ham decide it is time for a fresh start in the summer.

However, in April, the Scot, whose contract has a year left to run, indicated he would still be at the club next season.
“I’m planning for next season. I’ve got no intention of leaving,” said Moyes, reported Football.London.
“I’m getting on with my job, doing everything that I do and obviously, my head’s down and focused on how I’m getting myself more points at the moment, that’s the only thing I can think about.”
