An expert reckons they’ve spotted a royal “first” after some fresh pictures emerged of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Last week the Prince and Princess of Wales were snapped as they attended the Royal Charity Polo Cup 2023 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor.
It was not the first time they’ve been spotted watching the polo. In 2019 they enjoyed a day at Billingbear Polo Club in Wokingham alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

It is a sport that has long been loved by the Royal Family, and it was also where Princess Diana was first spotted with King Charles.
Infamously, Diana swerved a kiss from Charles at a polo match in 1992. But for royal commentator Daniela Elser, the latest pictures of William and Kate tell a completely different story.
Writing for news.com.au, the expert said: “Out came a trove of new photos of the couple and out came something new about them… They really, truly like each other.”
Elser said this could put us in “unprecedented” royal territory as she continued: “They will be the first king and queen, I reckon ever, whose relationship is one of partners. Of equals.
“I think that when the duo assume their thrones, they will be the first couple who will ultimately wield equal amounts of power.”
Elser pointed to the fact that both William and Kate have “key areas of focus” that they can pursue with dedication, and she reckons they will continue to be given equal financial backing from their Royal Foundation to do so.
She said: “Unlike the 50-odd kings who have come before William, when it’s his turn, we are not going to get one who goes about the grand business of ruling with all of the d**k-swinging energy of yore while his wife goes off to politely open a hospital wing.”
