Sunak refuses to rule out Farage returning to Conservative Party

Rishi Sunak has declined to rule out Nigel Farage rejoining the Conservative Party as a member, describing the social gathering as a ‘broad church’.

Mr Farage left the Tories in 1992 following the signing of the Maastricht Treaty and has since led Ukip and the Brexit Party, now referred to as Reform UK. He is at present honorary president of Reform UK.

Asked about Boris Johnson‘s father Stanley saying the social gathering wanted a person of Mr Farage’s ‘skills’, Mr Sunak didn’t reject the opportunity of him returning.
