According to controversial ex-Royal butler Paul Burrell, showing on Channel 4’s A Very Royal Christmas: Sandringham Secrets, the Duke of Sussex purchased the much-loved Monarch an x-rated bathe cap. He claims, with out stating what yr it was, that Prince Harry gifted the Queen a cap with the phrases “Ain’t life a b***h” on it.

The Duke of Sussex recalled his household’s first Christmas Stateside, writing: “It was Christmas Eve. We FaceTimed with several friends, including a few in Britain. We watched Archie running around the tree. And we opened presents. Keeping to the Windsor family tradition.”

The royal custom of opening presents on Christmas Eve was launched by Prince Albert and Queen Victoria. In Albert’s native Germany the observe is called Heiligabend Bescherung, which interprets to “Christmas Eve gifts”.
