The 25-year-old, who did not wish to give their title, stated: ‘It was very chaotic.
‘Everyone was freaking out and questioning what was occurring. One man was doing the brace place after we landed.
‘We discovered the airplane was turning round again to Stansted about an hour into the flight.
‘When we lastly landed about 4 armed police got here on board.’
An Essex Police spokesman stated: ‘Officers at Stansted Airport assisted after a airplane was returned to the airport at round 4:15pm on December 7.

‘This was following stories of drug use and verbal abuse on board.
‘Once the plane landed, officers performed searches and no medicine have been positioned. No arrests have been made.
‘The matter is now being managed by the airline.’
A Ryanair spokesman stated: ‘This flight from Stansted to Marrakesh (Dec 7) returned to Stansted Airport shortly after take-off when a small group of passengers turned disruptive in flight.
‘The crew referred to as forward for police help and the plane was met by native police upon arrival at Stansted Airport. This now a matter for native police.
‘To minimise disruption to passengers, Ryanair transferred passengers on to an alternate plane which departed for Marrakesh later that night.
‘Ryanair apologises for any inconvenience brought on to passengers on account of these disruptive passengers.’
