However, one extremely beige meal has left Brits divided in additional methods than one – some have by no means even heard of the dish that may be a lunch staple for some northerners.

Apparently, it is loved by those that reside in Wigan and surrounding cities within the Greater Manchester space. So what’s a pie barm? It’s fairly easy actually, pie in a bread roll (or bap or barm or cob or insert some other round bread identify as you would like). Some even name the meat and potato pie sandwiched between the ‘barm’ a ‘Wigan Kebab’.
In what is likely one of the beigest meals posts to ever grace the Casual UK subreddit, Brits at the moment are arguing in regards to the worthiness of the pie barm. While some protected the beloved pie barm, others expressed they weren’t too fond. Some even admitted they’ve by no means even heard of the pie sandwich earlier than.
“Probably tastes great, but I just know I’ll see some American repost this as another UK food bashing post,” one feared. Another declared: “Not enough beige.”
