Fans ‘really feel like pure s*** simply need darts again’ after FA Cup snoozefest

Fans have vented about “simply wanting darts again” after being subjected to an FA Cup “snoozefest”.

Football returned to the forefront on Thursday evening after a gripping month of the Paddy Power PDC World Darts Championship. Luke Littler‘s staggering rise and eventual defeat by the hands of Luke Humphries within the remaining offered loads of leisure.

But Crystal Palace’s FA Cup third-round conflict with Everton – the one televised recreation of the evening – failed to succeed in these lofty heights. And viewers have been left vastly dissatisfied as they watched a boring match finish 0-0 after 90 minutes.

Several followers took to X, previously often called Twitter, to put in writing: “Feel like pure s***, just want the darts back.”

Another fumed: “This match is boring as f***,” whereas a 3rd added: “What an absolute borefest this is.”

A fourth disgruntled viewer tweeted: “Humphries vs Littler within the World Darts Championship remaining to a 0-0 FA Cup tie between Crystal Palace and Everton in 24 hours. Life comes at you quick.”

Others chimed in with: “Cheers for the snoozefest ITV, you sure know how to pick them,” and: “F*** this I’m a full time darts fan.”

The uninteresting affair will end in a replay, which will probably be performed at Everton’s Goodison Park. Yet regardless of the dearth of objectives and grumblings on-line, there was some typical VAR controversy late on within the match.

Toffees striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin was proven a straight crimson card for a really smooth foul involving minimal contact within the 79th minute.
