In a viral video posted on social media, the fan may be seen standing alongside the Newcastle legend’s statue at night time whereas dancing gleefully. The statue of Shearer, who is taken into account the Toon’s biggest ever participant, was mocked as Sunderland followers applauded the disrespectful gesture on X.
