‘Aroused and offended’ girl broke into ex’s residence armed with ‘martial arts sticks’

A “highly aroused and angry” girl broke into her ex-boyfriend’s home and tried to smash her manner into his bed room whereas armed with “martial arts sticks”.

Buathip Kendray, 49, was livid after studying her ex-boyfriend Steven Woods was with one other girl and dwelling along with her within the residence they as soon as shared on Central Avenue, Speke.

Mr Woods and his new girlfriend barricaded themselves within the bed room as they waited for police to reach, all whereas Kendray tried to interrupt the door down.

Prosecutor Derek Jones instructed Liverpool Crown Court on January 5: “It was the morning of August 6 when the defendant has attended. Mr Woods has heard her shouting outside the address. She then proceeded to rip the wing mirror of his car, throw items up towards the bedroom window where Mr Woods was watching her, and then smashed a ground floor window to the lounge. The defendant then entered the property. Mr Woods and his girlfriend were so concerned they called the police and barricaded themselves in the bedroom.

“The defendant went upstairs and was making an attempt to interrupt into the bed room utilizing some martial arts sticks which belonged to Mr Woods.”

Video captured part of Kendray’s furious tirade. In it, Mr Woods could be heard begging police on the phone while glass shattered. He said: “Please, I would like somebody now.”

Officers arrived to search out Mr Woods shouting from the bed room. They entered the home and arrested Kendray – who later pleaded responsible to prison harm and affray. Police bodycam footage confirmed damaged home windows and harm to the bed room door the place the mum-of-two had tried to interrupt in.

Martine Snowden, defending, mentioned: “She’s a 49-year-old woman with no previous convictions. She is ordinarily in full time work and this is the only criminal act in her life.

He handed her a 18 month community order, including a rehabilitation activity requirement and 80 hours of unpaid work. She was also given a restraining order banning her from going near Mr Woods or his new girlfriend.
