Former Wales and British and Irish Lions full-back JPR Williams has died on the age of 74.
Williams, a fearless participant identified for his aggressive and attacking fashion, gained 55 Wales caps and began all eight Tests on victorious Lions excursions to New Zealand in 1971 and South Africa three years later.
He was revered amongst fellow Wales greats like Sir Gareth Edwards and Gerald Davies, and considered certainly one of rugby union’s most interesting gamers.
His dying was introduced by Bridgend Ravens, a membership that Williams served as a participant and membership president.
