James Maddison has opened up about residing with a safety canine – insisting the scary-looking animal is a giant softie round his two-year-old son.
The Tottenham midfielder purchased himself a Cane Corso Mastiff named Denzel again in 2022, and says he is now “part of the family”. Despite the canine’s intimidating look, Maddison says Denzel is a sweetheart and strikes the proper stability between being affectionate and defending the household.
The 27-year-old lives at dwelling along with his girlfriend Kennedy, their two-year-old son, Leo, and their six-month-old twins, Delilah and Rome. He says Denzel slotted proper in with the clan, which features a French Bulldog named Diego.

“I’m a big dog lover,” Maddison mentioned in a promotional video for defense canine trainers, Chaperone K9. “I’ve build up a brilliant relationship with my dog, Denzel. Me, my girlfriend and my [children] live in my house and these days you can never be too careful to have that extra level of protection, and Denzel’s brilliant.”
Maddison says he bought to know his pooch as he was being educated, with Denzel popping over for a number of home visits whereas studying the tips of his commerce. “Now he’s just part of the family,” he added.
