Ah, the pothole. The frequent enemy of Brits.
However, this specific dent within the street has brought about a little bit of a village spat. Potholes are infuriating and appear to multiply in a single day in some circumstances, so which means you need to maintain an additional eye out whereas driving.
But, this one driver appears to suppose the accountability of avoiding the particular hazard is lower than them. They imagine it is as much as their neighbours to highlight potholes if outdoors their home – with visitors cones.

After recognizing an orange cone outdoors their home, one resident determined to examine the sudden sighting of the visitors tools. They then realised it was positioned on high of a “big pothole” and even got here with a hand written word.
“Nice bit of village drama,” the unique poster teased on the Casual UK subreddit. “Guess all houses should own a traffic cone.
“Had a giant pothole outdoors our home for weeks now. Reported to council 3 times. Someone within the village has put a cone in it and left a message. They screwed it as much as jam it within the high of the cone.”

The hand-scribbled word learn: “Note to residence living by the pothole. It would have been helpful to other people in the village, and considerate, to place something over this pothole, rather than having someone else having to do it.
“We’ve simply smashed our entrance wheel to items.”
Despite the plea from the miffed neighbour with the “smashed” wheel, it looks like they didn’t garner much sympathy from Reddit users. One slammed: “Firstly the pothole appears tiny and secondly it is proper subsequent to the curb. How quick have been they going that near the pavement?”
Another mocked: “Dear Bad Driver Neighbour. Learn to drive, the talent of driving contains with the ability to spot and keep away from hazards.
“Please do everyone a favour and surrender your licence, if you can’t spot a pothole, how can you avoid a child who may wander into the road. Best Regards, Mr / Mrs Traffic Cone.”
While a 3rd jibed: “Oh look, a driver blaming everyone but themselves again.” Someone else wrote: “I mean, it would have been nice of you to do that, helps the community etc, but you have no responsibility to do it. Just ignore it.”
Although, one associated: “I feel their pain, I’ve had 2 burst tyres in 3 days due to potholes!”
