Ronnie O’Sullivan investigated after calling Ali Carter ‘f***ing nightmare’

Snooker icon Ronnie O’Sullivan is to be investigated after his stunning rant in direction of Ali Carter after profitable his eighth Masters title.

The World Snooker Tour (WST) introduced that the 48-year-old can be topic to an investigation after calling his rival a “f***ing nightmare” following his 10-7 victory on Sunday (January 14).

The thrilling ultimate was exacerbated by the pair’s long-standing disdain for one another that was publicly sparked in 2018 when O’Sullivan was accused of shoulder-barging the 44-year-old throughout their World Championship second-round conflict.

The Rocket’s rant on Carter surprised the sports activities world as he lashed out at his opponent in no holds barred tirade on the two-time World Championship finalist. “He needs to sort his f***ing life out,” a furious O’Sullivan began. “I’m not going to skirt round it anymore, tip-toeing on egg shells round somebody like that. He’s a f***ing nightmare.

“Playing snooker against someone like that is a nightmare. He’s not a nice person. It’s not a nice vibe he leaves around the table. I’ve said my piece, I don’t give a s**t. I’ve said it now, done.

“You know what he’s like, all people is aware of what he’s like. He’s received points. F***ing why has he received points with me? I’m not having it. I don’t care, develop some balls.”

The WST confirmed to the PA that that O’Sullivan’s fiery outburst in his post-match press conference “was underneath overview”, because the snooker legend himself was reportedly knowledgeable that his antics left the Tour hierarchy unimpressed.

The world primary mentioned that he hadn’t spoken to Carter for “20 years” admitting that he is grown uninterested in his antics. “He’s got beef with me. He’s got issues, he’s got to sort his life out, he’s got to see a counsellor or something,” O’Sullivan added.

“He’s got to deal with that because that’s no good. He’s got to sort it out, because I haven’t spoken to him for 20 years. I played with him when he was a kid and shared a lot of stuff with him. For him to come out and try to trash talk me like that, do you know what?

“He can have certainly one of them [middle finger], he can sit on it so far as I’m involved.”
