Starbucks barista praised for 9-word observe on espresso cup as man approached woman

A Starbucks barista has been hailed a hero after writing a discreet message on a teenage woman’s cup once they noticed a stranger strategy her whereas she was finding out.

The espresso chain workers member went above and past to attempt to assist the 18-year-old in want as identified in a viral Tweet in January 2023. X person James Herring, @itsjamesherring, shared an image of the espresso cup that had the message scrawled on it.

Trying to maintain drama to a minimal, the Starbucks barista used a scorching chocolate cup somebody had forgotten to choose up and wrote the observe: “Are you ok? Do you want us to intervene?”

“If you do, take the lid off the cup,” the barista added.

X person James posted alongside the photograph: “Kudos to the Starbucks’ barista who checked in on a teenage girl by writing a discreet message on her cup.

“The teen was noticed being approached by a stranger so the workers member handed her ‘scorching chocolate somebody forgot to choose up’.”

Others on X were quick to praise the barista for her efforts to help the teen, with one writing: “Deserves worker of the yr award.” Another added: “All credit score to the workers. What a dreadful state this nation is now in”.

Brandy Roberson explained that her daughter, who wishes to remain anonymous, was studying by herself at a Starbucks in Corpus Christi, Texas, on a Saturday night time, reviews TODAY Food. Once she got here house after finding out, she instructed her mum about what had occurred.

“She was holding the cup and knew that I would love that someone did that for her,” the mum instructed the outlet in 2022. “It made me feel so grateful that the Starbucks employees were watching out for her.

“As a mother, that’s my worst worry that one thing would occur to my baby and no one can be there to assist.”

Meanwhile, the Daily Star beforehand reported {that a} mum-of-three heralded Pizza Hut with saving her life after she was “held hostage at knifepoint by her boyfriend who was excessive on crack cocaine“.

Petrified Cheryl Treadway said she was being held against her will by boyfriend Ethan Nickerson who also refused to let her use her phone, with Nickerson even said to be sharpening a knife as they argued.

Cheryl said Nickerson finally let her order some food because he wouldn’t let her leave, which gave the 26-year-old mum a chance to use her mobile phone to make the Pizza Hut order.
