Wrexham make Transfer Deadline Day double swoop as Ryan Reynolds delights followers

Wrexham have boosted their League Two promotion hopes with a formidable double signing on Transfer Deadline Day.

Upon becoming a member of Wrexham, Bolton stated: “I’m buzzing to be here and how the Club has kicked on League Two to be second in the table is something I want to be a part of.

“Hopefully we will push on and go for the title as a result of it’s not out of the image that’s for certain and I’m glad to be a part of it.”

However, it is the acquisition of Marriott that may actually have followers of fellow League Two golf equipment sitting up and taking notice. The 29-year-old is a seasoned EFL goalscorer and has spent most of his current profession in League One and the Championship.

Having began out at Ipswich Town, the centre-forward has performed for the likes of Luton Town, Peterborough United, Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday. He joins from Fleetwood, having scored eight objectives in 19 video games for the League One strugglers this season.

On signing for Wrexham, he stated: “I’m really pleased to be here and happy to get the deal over the line. The club’s performances, the way they play as a team is a real key factor for me signing and the trajectory that the Club is going in is something that I want to be involved in and I’m absolutely delighted to be here.”

Naturally, Wrexham followers are delighted on the double swoop, which might have important ramifications within the League Two promotion race. One supporter wrote: “Don’t underestimate how much these two are going to improve us. Quality signings.”
