Lawless London horror as boy, 17, is stabbed to demise in Shoreditch

  • Investigation has begun into the knife assault in East London on Saturday evening

A 17-year-old boy has died after being stabbed in east London.

Police and paramedics had been referred to as to Hackney Road in Shoreditch, close to the junction with Cremer Street, at about 10.50pm on Saturday.

The sufferer was discovered with stab accidents and died on the scene.

Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway of the Metropolitan Police, who leads policing in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, stated: ‘My ideas are with the household of the younger one that has tragically misplaced his life.

‘I can guarantee them that we’ll be relentless in looking for to determine whoever was chargeable for this homicide.

‘Cordons are in place in Hackney Road for forensic examination of the scene and now we have launched what can be an especially thorough investigation, supported by specialists from throughout the Met.

A autopsy examination and formal identification are but to happen.

There have been no arrests.
