The Met Office has issued climate warnings as a storm is coming tomorrow (Thursday, February 22) poses a “danger to life”.
Two yellow-level warnings have been issued for tomorrow. The first is for wind and covers the south-coast, the south-east and components of East Anglia.
It is because of come into power at 8am, lasting till 6pm. The Met Office has stated gusts may attain speeds of as much as 70mph “close to English Channel and southern North Sea coasts”.

The warning tells folks: “There is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected.
“There is a slight likelihood of some injury to buildings, comparable to tiles blown from roofs.
“There is a slight likelihood that energy cuts could happen, with the potential to have an effect on different companies, comparable to cell phone protection.
“There is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
“There is a small likelihood of accidents and hazard to life from flying particles.
“There is a small chance that some roads and bridges could close.”
The second warning is for rain and covers a big swathe of southern and central England, stretching from Bath all the way in which to Lincolnshire. It is in place from 5am to 5pm tomorrow. The Met Office has stated as a lot as 40mm of rain may fall in some areas.
The warning tells folks: “There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses.
“There is a small likelihood that properties and companies might be flooded, inflicting injury to some buildings.
“Where flooding happens, there’s a slight likelihood of delays or cancellations to coach and bus companies.
“Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
