Moment fearless passengers deal with man after he tried to open the door

This is the second fearless passengers deal with a person to the bottom and duct tape him after he tried to open the door mid-flight on an American Airlines aircraft to Chicago.

Footage exhibits 5 males on American Airlines flight 1219 holding down the unruly passenger after he tried to open the emergency exit door half-hour after the aircraft departed Albuquerque International Sunport.

Due to the incident, which noticed fellow passengers restrain the person with duck-tape, the Boeing 737 needed to return to New Mexico and landed again in Albuquerque at 2.40pm MST yesterday.

One of the fearless passengers taking up the person was Zach Etkind, host of the Barstool Sports sequence Donnie Does.

He shared photos of the incident on X, previously generally known as Twitter, with the caption: ‘half-hour after departing Albuquerque I used to be shaken out of my Panda Express and Tequila induced stupor by a person attempting to aggressively open the airplane door 4 rows again.

An American Airlines crew member was seen on video as he used duct tape to restrain the unnamed man’s legs in addition to flex cuffs for his arms

‘Me and 5 different dudes needed to wrestle him into the aisle, duct tape his legs, and throw flexi-cuffs on him.’ 

He later shared an image of the person being led off the plane by police with the caption: ‘Ladies and gents, we received him!’ 

After his heroic intervention, Etkind advised Fox News: ‘At the second there was simply an excessive amount of happening to be panicking, nevertheless it was very scary.’ 

He stated he was about to go to sleep when the commotion across the unruly passenger prompted him to leap out of his seat and assist different flyers who had been attempting to subdue the person.

‘So I jumped out of my seat, ran over, and we in all probability had about like 4 or 5 guys who had been attempting to tear off this man who was clinging to and pulling on the [emergency door] deal with,’ he added.

‘Once we received him off of the door, we moved him to the aisle, and all of us held down his legs and arms.’

Another passenger wrote on X how she felt ‘an enormous gush of wind come out of nowhere’ when the passenger tried to open the emergency door.

The man was put in an empty row of seats in the back of the aircraft till the plane landed again in Albuquerque. 

Footage exhibits him being led off and arrested by native regulation enforcement officers. 

The Albuquerque Division of the FBI is reportedly investigating the incident.
