Iain Packer has been discovered responsible of murdering Emma Caldwell in 2005 following a trial on the High Court in Glasgow.
Packer, 51, had been accused of murdering Miss Caldwell, 27, who vanished in Glasgow on April 4, 2005 and whose physique was present in Limefield Woods, close to Roberton, South Lanarkshire, the next month.
The former signal fitter was convicted of indecently assaulting her and a string of intercourse assaults on a number of different girls, following a six-week trial.
