Fifteen fireplace engines and 100 firefighters rush to blaze in Kensington

Nearly 100 firefighters have rushed to a devastating fireplace at a block of terraced homes in London tonight.

More than a dozen fireplace engines had been referred to as to Emperor’s Gate in South Kensington after midnight after the blaze broke out on Friday, March 1.

Video taken from the scene exhibits flames tearing via the roof and the highest flooring of the construction as firefighters attempt to douse the inferno.

Footage shared on social media exhibits a number of emergency companies on the scene, with a cordon in place to cease members of the general public getting via.

‘Half of the bottom flooring of the 5 storey constructing is alight. Around 15 folks left the constructing earlier than the Brigade arrived.
