Shane Warne’s eldest daughter Brooke has written a heart-breaking letter to her dad on the anniversary of his passing.
The Australian cricket legend tragically died whereas on vacation to Thailand on March 4, 2022. Aged 52, he suffered a cardiac arrest and couldn’t be revived by emergency providers.
Warne left behind his three youngsters, Brooke, Jackson and Summer, because the sporting world was rocked by the enduring leg spin bowler’s premature passing. His enormous persona transcended sport – and now his daughter Brooke has shared the aspect solely his household noticed by penning an emotional letter.

The Mirror report she wrote: “Two years today, dad. It’s been the slowest and quickest two years without you. I feel like you were just here being silly with us and talking about how good the new season of Peaky Blinders is and we will watch the next episode together when you come home.
“Life really doesn’t make sense without you here. We try and do you proud every day. I miss you, I love you forever.”

Shane was discovered lifeless by his buddy and enterprise accomplice Andrew Neophitou, who was meant to fulfill him for a drink and dinner. He had not been consuming when he died, his supervisor James Erskine mentioned, with Thai police saying there had been no signal of alcohol and cigarettes.

England cricket legend Nasser Hussain spoke on Australian radio following his dying, saying: “For me, he was arguably the greatest cricketer to ever play the game. The game is about entertaining people and there was never a dull moment when Shane Warne had the ball in his hand. He was absolutely genius.”
Australia captain Pat Cummins mentioned after listening to the information of his passing: “We all grew up watching Warnie, idolising him, we all had posters on our wall, had his earrings. We loved so much his showmanship, his charisma, his tactics. He just willed himself and his team to win games for Australia.
“So many guys on this squad nonetheless maintain him as a hero, their all-time favorite participant. The loss we’re all making an attempt to wrap our heads round is large. The sport was by no means the identical after Warnie emerged and the sport won’t ever be the identical after his passing. Rest in peace, King.”
