Carlos Sainz to overlook Saudi GP for surgical procedure as Ferrari identify Brit substitute

Carlos Sainz has been dominated out of this weekend’s Saudi Arabian GP – and Ferrari have already named his substitute.

Sainz was again behind the wheel of his Ferrari final weekend – placing in an important efficiency in Bahrain. The Spaniard rounded out the rostrum, behind the 2 Red Bull’s as he begins his closing season with the Italian outfit.

However, he won’t be within the paddock in Jeddah as a result of being identified with appendicitis. A press release learn: “Carlos Sainz has been diagnosed with appendicitis and will require surgery.
