Howe says Gordon has produced what Southgate has been ‘on the lookout for’

Eddie Howe believes Anthony Gordon has all the pieces that Gareth Southgate shall be on the lookout for in his England wingers.

The 23-year-old has scored 10 targets this season – and assisted seven – and has missed just one recreation due to suspension.

He has some really good things in his life which keep him stable, motivated to do well and fingers crossed he can continue his form.’

Meanwhile, Howe says he by no means had a difficulty with Gordon after the incident at Brantford in April, when he disregarded the supervisor after being substituted.
