King Charles pays tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth on Mother’s Day

King Charles has this morning paid a touching tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II on Mother’s Day. 

His Majesty shared a black and white photograph on social media of him kissing the hand of his ‘darling Mama’ throughout a 1985 polo match. 

Alongside the photograph he wrote alongside a pink flower emoji: ‘Wishing all Mothers, and those that are lacking their Mums as we speak, a peaceable Mothering Sunday.’ 

Queen Elizabeth II died ‘peacefully’ aged 96 on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral. All of her youngsters rushed to be by her aspect after docs grew to become ‘involved’ for her well being.

Hours later she died surrounded by her household with Buckingham Palace asserting her passing.

Her demise certificates revealed she died of ‘outdated age.  

Her eldest son grew to become King Charles III following her demise and in a touching tribute he spoke of his ‘biggest unhappiness’.

‘The demise of my beloved mom, Her Majesty The Queen, is a second of the best unhappiness for me and all members of my household.

‘We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved mom.

‘I do know her loss shall be deeply felt all through the nation, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by numerous individuals around the globe.

‘During this era of mourning and alter, my household and I shall be comforted and sustained by our data of the respect and deep affection by which The Queen was so broadly held.’

The touching tribute on Mother’s Day comes after Charles has stepped again from public-facing duties following his shock most cancers analysis. 

Last month Buckingham Palace introduced that the 75-year-old monarch had been recognized with an unspecified kind of most cancers, which had been picked up after docs handled an enlarged prostate.

He has taken a step again from public engagements, with different members of the Royal household together with his energy and keep Queen Camilla stepping as much as the plate.
