The US-based wellbeing company 10X Health Systems are at the centre of Paul Pogba’s failed doping test last year, Mail Sport can reveal.
High profile ‘health-guru’ Gary Brecka and 10X doctor Carrie Carda also find themselves involved in the storm that leaves Pogba fighting for his career.
The 30-year-old tested positive for DHEA, a banned substance that boosts testosterone, after featuring for Juventus in their opening game of the season against Udinese on August 20.
Pogba has subsequently been banned for four years, which given his age places doubt on whether he will ever play professional football again.
The former Manchester United midfielder is currently preparing for his appeal to be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
