Man finds solution to transport Guinness – however leaves folks with ‘so many questions’

A man spotted tipping a pint of Guinness into a zip-lock bag has horrified pints lovers.

The pub-goer attempted to find an angle which would see his pint poured cleanly into the Tesco-branded bag. But many took to X (formerly Twitter) and mocked him for his choice of makeshift glass.

Later pictures showed the man loosen the bag to fit a red and white straw inside as someone in the background can be heard saying “the f**k?”.

His makeshift pint storage made for a boozy treat on the go as he wandered off from the table soon after the shocking display.

One user said it was a “Guinness Capri Sun” and the idea “could catch on” while another fumed at the zip-lock bag use over other, pint-shaped items.

They wrote: “Amateur. A Pringles lid fits exactly over a Guinness pint glass and you can punch a hole for the straw.” A third user taking to X joked: “Guinnebags. We used to drink them on the way to school.”

Pints O’Guinness, who posted the display, was left with “so many questions” over why the man had tipped his pint into a bag and wandered off with it.

Other users praised the lad for making a “fantastic compromise” to make sure he could walk around with his pint.

“The lad wants to trott around with a refreshing pint of Guinness like you would a coffee on a walk and obviously knows he can’t take the glass with him so he’s come up with an fantastic compromise,” one user wrote.

Another added: “A walking Guinness. Seems pretty straightforward.” Another suggested it was a “pragmatic” idea which would keep his pint intact on a walk.

The unnamed man in the video drew comparisons to a man who put his Wetherspoons breakfast into a plastic security bag at an airport, with one user saying “his influence could be felt for generations to come”.
