Admittedly, many people couldn’t as the creature was almost unnoticeable among the greenery as they took to the comments to confess they were stumped. One user joked: “Yeah my a** ain’t surviving the wild.”

Another user said: “I had enlarged the picture and was moving it all around. Trying to see if I could find the snake, and I got more nervous with each move, So I finally just stopped. Lol.”

The elusive snake, notorious for its bulky frame, distinct triangular head, and tendency to make a racket when disturbed, is incredibly difficult to detect in the puzzle without possessing X-ray vision.

The image shows grass in various hues of green, interspersed with soil. There are also spots where the grass is dead, clearly crying out for some TLC from a gardener.

It’s easy to overlook the snake if you don’t give full attention to the challenge. Here’s a hint: the colour of the snake’s scales could be mistaken for grass.

If you need another clue, take a closer look towards the left of the photograph. The rattlesnake almost perfectly blends in with a layer of dead grass on the left side of the image.
