That is a lovely touch from Goncalo Ramos, the shot though, not so much.

PSG launch forward and the ball is fizzed into Ramos, he takes the ball so well and following a touch, volleys it wide on the turn.

If he found the back of the net there, it would have been stunning.

Karim Adeyemi is absolutely rapid.

The ball comes back to Marquinhos and Adeyemi closes him down at a frightening pace.

The Brazilian managed to get it back to Gianluigi Donnarumma and, in turn, safety, but my word, they were some nervy moments for him.

This match is being played at a crazy pace.

The PSG players are playing with a hunger we didn’t see from them last week, and I’m sure their fans are helping them. The Parc des Princes is simply deafening.

They are all over Borussia Dortmund as soon as they get the ball.

Kylian Mbappe only managed one shot on target in the first leg, he’s just had his first tonight already.

The ball is launched into the area and Mbappe latches onto it, but his volley is mishit and saved comfortably by Gregor Kobel.

PSG have started brightly here…

The Parc des Princes roars as PSG come forward for the first time.

Achraf Hakimi does really well on the right-hand side and delivers a lovely cross for Goncalo Ramos.

Ramos does reach it, but his effort is tame and goes straight into the hands of Gregor Kobel.

Jadon Sancho gets the ball and boos ring around the Parc des Princes.

It seems they aren’t best pleased with the man who ripped their team apart last week. I wonder why?

Well, it turns out they are jeering every Borussia Dortmund player.

PSG get the semi-final second leg underway to a huge roar.

Wow, this atmosphere is spectacular.

I didn’t think it could get much better than last week in Dortmund, but tonight is running it very close.

Both sections are bouncing, there are banners everywhere, and even fireworks plus pyro.

The teams now arise from the tunnel to a cauldron of noise, I can’t begin to imagine how the players are feeling.

Now it’s time for the Champions League anthem…

The yellow wall follow their side everywhere.

You could be mistaken for thinking this photo was taken at Signal Iduna Park, but it’s actually the away end at the Parc des Princes.

With the away end in fine voice, as well as the home section, the atmosphere will be incredible no matter the score.

So, Owen Hargreaves says this current Borussia Dortmund team is not as good as the one that made the final 11 years ago.

Mail Sport’s Craig Hope is at the Parc des Princes this evening and has just shared via X the noise that Borussia Dortmund were greeted with as they came out to warm up.

If that’s anything to go by, it could be a tough evening for Dortmund. It’s never easy to play in a hostile atmosphere.

Will PSG have the force on their side tonight?

We all knew this anyway, but Thierry Henry really respects Kylian Mbappe.

The France legend has spoken on Kylian Mbappe before tonight’s match, and it is certainly some high praise.

Mbappe is going to have to show he is ‘not normal’ tonight if he is going to drag PSG to Wembley.

The warm-ups haven’t even started and the Parc des Princes is already bouncing.

The PSG fans have moved inside and kept the noise to the same level, they are going to be singing all night.

It’s already an impressive atmosphere, and it’s half full…

The big news here is that Goncalo Ramos is recalled, and that means Kylian Mbappe starts from the left. He has to be better from that position than he was centrally in Dortmund last week. It was certainly what my taxi driver, a PSG fan, wanted to happen. It also means Mbappe will be in direct opposition to Jadon Sancho. The Manchester United loanee outshone Mbappe in the first leg, but this is an entirely different proposition amid the cauldron of the Parc des Princes.

Luis Enrique has decides to make changes from the first leg.

The Spaniard has made just the two, with Goncalo Ramos and Lucas Beraldo coming into the side.

Lucas Hernandez, who looks to have ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), has to make way for Brealdo.

Bradley Barcola is the other player to make way.

So, Jadon Sancho starts again…

The Manchester United loanee seems to be back to his very best at Borussia Dortmund.

He was the star of the show in the first leg, running rings around the PSG defence, Nuno Mendes, in particular.

Sancho completed 12 dribbles in the 1-0 win which was the first time in eight seasons that a player has completed 10 or more dribbles in a Champions League semi-final match.

The English winger has completed 22 dribbles in total during the knockout stages, a competition high this season.

Can he shine again this evening?

No surprises here.

Edin Terzic has decided to name the same starting 11 that took to the pitch for their 1-0 win in the first leg.

That means Jadon Sancho starts for the visitors, I wonder how Nuno Mendes feels about that.

As a player, seeing and hearing your fans like that must give you goosebumps. The support surely fuels them.

Kylian Mbappe’s fairytale ending at PSG is on the line tonight.

He has one numerous titles while playing in his home city, but the one that really matters, the Champions League, has evaded him.

The French superstar has one final chance to grab his hands on it in PSG colours, something that the club has dreamed of for well over a decade.

Mbappe was far from his best in Dortmund last week, he only managed a singular shot on target, however, he did smash a strong strike against the post.

He will need to be back to his magical self if his final swansong at PSG is to go as planned, and the statistics show he usually is when playing on the Parc des Princes pitch.

The French attacker 32 goal involvements in 31 home games when he has started in the Champions League, scoring 21 goals, and providing 11 assists.

Can he add to that tally tonight and send PSG to Wembley?

Not all omens are against Dortmund tonight.

They were brilliant last week and fully deserved their victory over PSG. If they play like they did that night, it could be a celebratory evening for them.

The Bundesliga side’s 1-0 over the Parisians meant that Dortmund won back-to-back games in the knockout stages of the Champions League for the first time since the 2012-13 quarter-final/semi-final.

Guess what happened that season? They made the final at Wembley.

Is it going to be a case of de ja vu for Dortmund?

History beckons for PSG tonight, if they make the final that is.

The French champions were in a similar position to what they are in now, in the quarter-final. They lost the first leg.

However, after coming from behind in the second leg, they secured a 6-4 win on aggregate over Barcelona to make the last four.

Once again, they enter the second leg of a tie behind. If they manage to complete another comeback, they will be the first team to lose the first leg in both the last eight and the semi-finals of a Champions League season and still reach the final.

It’s going to take a monumental effort, but it’s more than possible.

Tonight’s venue is ready. In just over 90 minutes times, they will pull back the curtains and the stands will be full.

It will be eerily quiet in the Parc des Princes right now, but I can guarantee you that noise levels will be off the scale when the teams take to the pitch.

It’s a stunning setting for a match of this magnitude. I can’t wait.

To book their ticket to Wembley, Borussia Dortmund will have to do something they have never managed before – win away at PSG.

The German side have faced PSG away in Europe three times, but they have never come away with a win losing twice and drawing once. They failed to score in all of those games. Yikes.

Earlier this season, Dortmund travelled to PSG for the first matchday of the Champions League campaign and were beaten 2-0. Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi doing the damage.

The Bundesliga club will be thankful that they are heading to the French capital in the lead, it means a draw will be enough.

They won’t want to rely on that though…

We showed a good game last week, which gave us that little lead. But that performance probably won’t be enough to get us into the final. We have to do everything together tomorrow, with a good plan, with a good idea. Paris will certainly do better than last week. We want to earn this ticket to the final. We’ll tackle that together tomorrow.

They have a mission, we have a huge dream… there are enough things we have to do better, because they will do better. Part of the success was bringing that intensity onto the pitch. If we need to, we’ll run another 20 kilometres.

Luis Enrique, PSG boss, speaking on Monday:

The aim isn’t to win by two goals, but to win, if you think you have to score two goals that seems like a big target. We just want to play and score. If we score in the 89th minute, it will carry on. We don’t need to score right away, we just want to win the game.

You could score twice in two minutes, but you could also concede a goal. We have to be 100% focused on attack and defence. If we concede a goal, it is not serious, we have to stay calm. If we score twice very quickly, our opponents will have to react.

It will be an even game with a high level of play on and off the ball, so it will be tough for both teams. I think the role of the fans will be vital, as it has been throughout the season. We will all be together and I hope we can celebrate a victory and a place in the final.

We were served up a treat last week in Dortmund.

Six days have passed since the first leg, and I am still unsure how the game ended 1-0. It was a match littered with big chances.

Both sides could have easily scored a bucketful, PSG in particular, but nearly all the chances were wasted.

Notice how I said nearly? That’s because there was a solitary occasion where one was taken, and it was one of the hardest of the lot.

Niclas Fullkrug produced one hell of a strike to score the only goal of the game. He produced a touch and finish reminiscent of his opposite number, Kylian Mbappe, to ensure Dortmund start tonight with a one-goal advantage.

As I write this post, I have my toes crossed that we are gifted with another night of incredible chaos.

The Champions League always delivers, so I’m sure we will be.

Games don’t get much bigger than this.

The Champions League trophy is the holy grail for every side in Europe, especially PSG. They have made it their mission to get their hands on good old ‘big ears’.

They are potentially just 180 minutes from making it happen, but anything other than a win tonight and the tears will be flowing in the French capital.

They have a lot of work to do to keep their dream alive, they trail Borussia Dortmund by one goal after a toothless performance in Dortmund.

You can’t overlook the German side, they are seeking their third-ever Champions League final, and if they avoid defeat, they will have the chance to avenge their defeat to Bayern Munich at Wembley 11 years ago, on the very same turf.

One team’s night will end in devastation, the other’s elation.

It’s going to be a special night.

Tonight, dreams will be fulfilled and they will be crushed.

In just over four hours we will know one half of the Champions League final at Wembley on June 1. Who though, will it be PSG or Borussia Dortmund?

It’s the German side who currently sit in the ascendency after a narrow 1-0 win in Dortmund, but they are by no means in a comfortable position. The tie is finely balanced.

If we witness anything like the 90 minutes we were provided with last week, we are in for a cracking night. With the stakes as high as they are, excitement for this one is through the roof.
