The Pleasure Boys are again, and employed safety to guard themselves

A wild male strip show which caused uproar when naked dancers simulated sex acts with attendees is returning – and they’ve hired extra security to protect themselves.

The UK Pleasure Boys performed in Finaghy, Belfast, in February for a Valentine’s Special, but footage of the performance went viral when women stormed the stage.

Video showed the nude male dancers mimicking sexual acts with ‘handsy’ female audience members at the chaotic event.

Some slammed the show as ‘disgusting’ and it was even investigated by Belfast City Council, but organisers insisted ‘the show is not meant to be seedy’.

This week, the stripper group is returning to Northern Ireland for the first time since the raunchy gig went viral.

But this time, mobile phones and recording devices are banned – and the organisers have even hired extra security ‘manning the stage’ to ensure there won’t be a repeat of the ‘out of control’ scenes earlier in the year.

They will be performing on May 11 at The Bannville Hotel in County Down for ‘sizzling entertainment’ promising to leave attendees ‘breathless’  – and the event tickets are almost sold out as sales went ‘absolutely mental’.

Tickets cost £24.09 – but the VIP ‘meet and greet’ – which includes a photo opportunity – costs £36.91.

The hotel boasts of an ‘idyllic escape’ from modern life, allowing guests to ‘unwind and rejuvenate’.

The UK Pleasure Boys’ manager, John Woodward, said they’ve had a lot of messages from people worried about being ‘named and shamed’ if they attend.

‘We’ve had messages from a lot of people asking if it’s definitely a no-mobile phone policy because they’re worried they’re going to get named and shamed,’ he told the Belfast Telegraph.

He said the group has a new promoter and they spoke to the council to ensure they aren’t doing anything ‘too risque’ this time.

Mr Woodward told the newspaper they’re putting emphasis on security and have hired ‘about 10 security personnel, if not more’.

‘People are going to be manning the stage,’ he said, but reassured guests that the show is ‘mostly the same’.

Guests will still be allowed on the stage but there will be more ‘specific timings’.

And when the boys take a bow at the end, access to them will be ‘completely blocked’.

There will be screens around the room telling guests they’re not allowed to use their phones as that was a ‘big part’ of what ‘highlighted everything getting out of control’ last time.

But for especially keen guests, there will be a meet and greet ‘with the boys’ where they can take photos together.

Mr Woodward said they even have social media influencers coming in before the show, along with a documentary maker.

He said 500 tickets sold within two days of the hotel announcing the show and there will be space for 800 people.

The ticket page for the Pleasure Boys XXL Tour reads: ‘Get ready for an electrifying night of sizzling entertainment that will leave you breathless!

A video announcing the tour showed clips of the male strippers unbuttoning their shirts, dancing with women and posing for photos, reading ‘are you ready for round two?’

Footage from the chaotic event set social media ablaze, with some suggesting the erotic entertainment group’s performance was ‘disgusting’

While the majority of comments were positive and many women tagged their friends, some scorned the video as ‘disgusting’.

The UK Pleasure Boys performed at the Devenish Complex in Finaghy last Valentine’s Day and told Femail that ‘everything was going to plan with the exception of a few excited ladies who had a few to drink and with the presence of the boys, they got a little bit handsy.’

They said previously: ‘The show is not meant to be seedy and I am positive that the guests in attendance would agree with this.

‘It’s a shame that the whole event – which was very entertaining throughout the night – has been portrayed by the few videos that have gone viral for the wrong reasons.

‘We are a fully nude male revue show that tours throughout the UK and Europe. Our show is a combination of dancing, acrobatics, fire and nudity and we perform 100s of these shows every year without many issues.’

At the event, one naked dancer even included a Union Jack in his X-rated act, while other videos showed the nude performers dancing with attendees.

A video clip on X, formerly Twitter, showed a naked man simulating sex with a member of the audience, while another is seen with his private parts alarmingly close to a woman’s face.

Speaking about the raunchy nine-man performance at the Belfast bar and restaurant, one woman, who did not wish to be identified, told Belfast Live how the ‘men themselves put on a good show the first half’.

But after a long break, the ‘second half took a turn’, said the audience member. ‘I have never seen anything like it, was gob-smacked, but I did not leave as it was all for a laugh and was glad that none of the men came near me as I would have died off.’

Mr Woodward said the occasion includes ‘dancing, fire and acrobatics’ before the ‘full reveal’ towards the end of the show.

Speaking to BBC’s Nolan Show previously, he said: ‘I think this has probably been blown up a lot more over here [Northern Ireland] because people are not quite used to what our show is. I mean, we are a fully nude male revue show.

‘The videos are the ending where the girls stormed the stage, this wasn’t planned, this just happened.

‘The boys came out and took a bow and the girls stormed the stage, then they carried on dancing with the girls. They weren’t just going to walk off at the stage at that point.’

He added: ‘There was absolutely no sexual contact during the show. Everything we do, it’s crowd participation and everything is simulated, there’s no sort of sexual acts going on during the show.’

The owner added that his dancers ‘enjoy what they do’ and that the act is often asked to do ‘the Full Monty because people want that’.

One of the strippers was Jack Wilson, who calls himself ‘Handsome Jack’ and also describes himself as a ‘professional pornstar’ and escort.

He has 117,000 followers on X where he links to his OnlyFans account and from Bristol and shared videos on the platform before commenting: ‘Belfast will never be the same again…’

Using the hashtags #TheDevenish and #Devenish he showed off a number of clips online with him taking off his pants and exposing himself to the crowd.

In one of the videos online, the 31-year-old pours lotion over his body, before wiping it off with a Union Jack, local media reported.

MailOnline has approached the UK Pleasure Boys for comment.
