‘I’m a glam Page 3 lady – warmonger Vladimir Putin has devastated my household’

It has been more than two years since Russian despot Vladimir Putin waged war on Ukraine – and there has been untold devastation since then.

One woman who has experienced it from afar is Page 3 girl Catia Alexis, from Portsmouth. She’s half-Ukrainian and spent much of her youth in Sumy Oblast.

Catia was unable to give her late grandfather a send off and her grandmother had to desperately flee her home after her windows were shattered during a bombing spree by Russian forces.

During this time, Catia has managed to quit her job as a car saleswoman to become a full-time model and she has even bought her own home.

But despite her success, she said it has been a challenging time for her loved ones. She told Daily Star: “Our family went through a really hard time. During the time when things got really bad with the war, my grandad had unfortunately passed away while still in Ukraine and I wasn’t able to say my goodbyes which was devastating.

“I worried every day about my grandma as they were bombing in her area and her windows got blown out so it really wasn’t safe for her anymore. She started living with a friend and they stayed in their basement for a while but luckily we managed to get my grandma over here.

“So after nearly eight decades of her living in Ukraine, for the first time ever she was able to come to the UK thanks to the government scheme to help Ukrainians.

“My grandma now lives over here and she’s been able to share some incredible experiences with me. She misses her home and she can’t speak any English so it is difficult for her but she has lessons and tries her best every day. I’m so proud of her.”

Catia learned to ride her bike and played with other kids in Sumy Oblast, where her grandma, Lidiia, 76, lived in an apartment.

Her glamorous pictures were first printed in our esteemed newspaper last year but at the time she was leading a double life. Her full-time job was actually flogging cars but since then she has left sales to solely focus on modelling and content creation.

And speaking about being able to give up sales to chase her dreams, she said: “I am thrilled. Two months after buying my house I quit my job which some would say is risky but I like taking risks.

“I originally thought I might look into going into another job but everything has been so successful that I haven’t actually needed to. I’ve been so busy that I’ve had to turn down some opportunities but I’m loving every minute of doing what I love and enjoy.”
