Burnley’s Premier League journey ends with defeat at Tottenham

Burnley have been relegated from the Premier League after their 2-1 defeat at Tottenham.

The Clarets, led by Vincent Kompany, will join Sheffield United back in the Championship next season. Luton are likely to go down too – having just lost 3-1 at West Ham’s London Stadium.

In order to survive, the Hatters need Nottingham Forest to lose their final two games – with a goal deficit of 13. For this reason, Luton’s relegation could be sealed tonight if Forest get any points against Chelsea from 5:30pm.
