Scantily-clad Brit ladies brawl at Spanish resort to chants of ‘combat’

A British tourist wearing just a vest and pants got another woman in a chokehold while brawling at a Majorcan resort.

The scrap took place on Saturday night (May 11), at Cala d’Or, an area packed with bars and restaurants on the Spanish island’s south-east coast. It’s unclear why the fight began.

During the scuffle, a Good Samaritan trying to separate the fight ended up on the wrong side of a scantily-clad holidaymaker‘s rage.

Witnesses egged on the women, chanting “fight, fight, fight” from a distance as the pair made a spectacle of themselves, pushing and slapping each other.

Of the two, the partially-dressed brunette bared her backside throughout and needed lifting back onto her feet from the ground.

It’s understood locals defused the fight, and police were not called in.

The cat-fight occurred just hours after Majorca introduced a late-night ban on booze sales covering touristic parts of the island in efforts to stamp out trashy behaviour from holidaymakers coming to the island to get wild and party.

The decree, in place until until December 2027 at the earliest, bans late night booze sales and drinking on the streets from 9.30pm to 8am in Llucmajor, Palma and Calvia in Majorca and Sant Antoni in Ibiza.

Brit tourists face high fines if caught drinking on the streets in areas such as Magaluf’s party strip Punta Ballena and booze selling shops must close after 9.30pm.

This follows one Balearic tourist resort threatening to ban visitors all together.

Daily Star reports popular Menorca holiday village Binibeca Vell is threatening to ban all tourists, a step up from previously telling tourists to visit between 11am and 8.30pm so they can “enjoy their breakfasts.”

The fishing village’s residents have complained of poor behaviour from tourists, that ranged from entering people’s properties to climbing on balconies.
