Lamborghini with ‘L’ plates leaves folks questioning ‘how a lot a lesson is’

A Lamborghini sporting ‘L’ plates in Liverpool has left people wondering how much the learner driver must be forking out for lessons.

Reddit users were shocked to see the lavish sports car seemingly being used by an inexperienced motorist as it whizzed through the streets of Liverpool. One user wrote: “I wonder how much an hours lesson in one of those would cost!” while another added: “Imagine the insurance!”.

Another user dubbed the car a “Learnerborghini,” suggesting the “L definitely stands for Lamborghini”, not “learner”.

Users also pointed out another car was tailing the learner driver closely. One said: “Still another car sitting up its a**e at the lights.”

It seemed the second car was, predictably, a BMW. The choice to navigate through the congested urban roads of the city in a Lamborghini baffled another Reddit user who thought they’d be more suited on country roads where traffic police are “completely absent”.

They said: “You’d be better off coming up here to Scotland where we have long country roads and a complete absence of road traffic policing. But they want to show off.”

While many assumed the flashy ride belonged to a super-wealthy youngster, possibility now suggests that it might actually be a stunt by a local driving school.

Clearview Driving has caused a stir on YouTube, calling out to driving newbies with the chance to “learn to drive a lambo”. The clip flaunts the flashy motor while instructor Aman Sanghera boasts: “Got a new upgrade for the learners, let’s get in.”

But it’s left viewers guessing if the luxe car will really be used for driving lessons. Speculation is rife among users that this L-plated Lambo might just be a prop for another ad. “Considering the camera on the roof and the foreign plate, maybe it’s a joke / they’re filming something. Fun sight anyway,” one user quipped.

Another reckoned it’s “a Lamborghini press car” for showing off, not for teaching test-takers.
