Manchester City fans have joked Gary Neville was “rattled” after they stormed the pitch following their latest title triumph.
City wrapped up their fourth title on the bounce on Sunday afternoon at a canter against West Ham – and some City fans couldn’t wait to celebrate their latest triumph by getting onto the pitch at the Etihad Stadium.
Some fans jumped the gun, and even City’s stars were ushering them off the side of the pitch. Neville wasn’t too happy at the scenes, saying, while on comms for Sky Sports, that it was a shame City’s players were unable to celebrate on the pitch.

“Gary Neville being a p**** about the pitch invasion was hilarious. Absolutely no need to resent it. Fans should have their 10 minutes when they win the league. No one gets hurt,” a third joked. And another added: “Gary Neville crying about a pitch invasion… so bitter!”

City have now won the last four Premier League title’s in-a-row – an achievement that is unmatched by any other Premier League side.
This season, the title race went down to the final day, but any nerves were quickly squashed by Phil Foden. City’s superstar found the net after just 72 seconds, and he had his brace in the opening 30 minutes.
Mohammed Kudus threatened to throw a spanner in the works with an outrageous bicycle kick. However, after Rodri rolled the ball home to reinstate City’s two goal lead, Pep Guardiola’s side were soon crowned as champions, again.
