A Canadian living in the UK has been left gobsmacked by Brits’ boozy holiday behaviour
Comedian Kevin Finn, who has resided in the UK for “about 10 months”, took to TikTok to share his astonishment at the antics of British holidaymakers during a recent trip to Greece.
Kevin revealed that the debauchery kicked off even before he landed in Greece. He said: “I decided to go on a cheeky holiday. I was in Manchester Airport right… I learned people in the UK lose all sense of self restraint – once they walk in the airport, holiday starts, gone.

“I have never heard so many people use, ‘well, I’m on my holiday’, to just do whatever they want to do. We flew to Greece, it was like three and a half hours – this woman, I swear she had like nine little bottles of wine. Every time [saying]: ‘Well, I’m on my holiday, might as well pop another one.'”
According to Kevin, there was also a bloke behind him on the flight telling his mate they were “gonna get tattoos” because “we’re on holiday, might as well”. The comedian expressed his disbelief, exclaiming: “That’s permanent!”
He claimed he “couldn’t escape” Brits while visiting a “little island in Greece”. And, mimicking various regional accents, Kevin listed some outrageous examples of what Brits might use “I’m on holiday” as an excuse to justify.
“Oh babes, you’ve got to smash a plate! You’re on holiday,” he mimicked in an Essex accent. “Listen, I’ve s*** myself, but it’s okay I’m on holiday. I’ve put a nappy on, it’ll be alright.”
He then switched to a Scouse accent and continued: “And what? I scissor-kicked a child into the Mediterranean Sea. I’m on my f***ing holiday, he was doing my head in!”
