New Cadbury Caramilk Crunchie Bites noticed at B&M – however individuals discover ‘drawback’

Chocoholics, brace yourselves for the latest sweet sensation hitting the shelves.

Cadbury‘s new Caramilk Crunchie Bites are causing quite the stir among treat enthusiasts online. Spotted in the aisles of budget store B&M, many people are excited about the new choccy offering.

However, it seems there’s a twist in the tale, as some eagle-eyed snackers have clocked a ‘problem’ with the golden goodies, as they reckon the bites are a bit different from what’s shown on the packet.

Described as ‘Caramilk caramelised white chocolate bites, which come with honeycomb pieces, these treats were put under the social media microscope when a snap was shared on the ‘Food Finds UK’ Facebook group.

Some shoppers moaned about the packaging when seeing a photo of the chocolates, with one person blasting: “They look completely different to the packaging.” Another chimed in, baffled: “The two items don’t even look alike? ? Second picture looks like truffles.”

Grumbles didn’t stop there, with another punter bemoaning the £3 price tag for a bag that apparently skimps on quantity. Reports suggest you’ll nab 14 of these caramelised bites in each 120g bag.

Meanwhile, someone else said they would prefer a white chocolate Crunchie bar instead of the bites.

Commenting on the backlash, a Mondelēz International/Cadbury spokesperson said: “Consumers may notice that our Cadbury Caramilk Crunchie Bites look a little different to the image on pack, they but can expect the same delicious taste they know and love.

“Please note Cadbury Caramilk Crunchie Bites are a product from other markets and are not sold directly by Cadbury in the UK. We are always listening to our fans to ensure our range of products reflects their changing tastebuds and we have our own product innovation pipeline in the UK, so watch this space for delicious new Cadbury treats coming soon!”

Despite the gripes, plenty of people can’t wait to get their hands on them. One person exclaimed: “I need these ASAP.” While another asked: “Are these real? Omg I want them,” A third chimed in: “These look lovely,” while a fourth added: “Actually sounds really nice.”

The news comes after another new Cadbury bar was spotted at B&M recently – the ‘Choc Orange & Cookies’ flavour.

The new bar features Dairy Milk chocolate with orange flavoured creme and choc biscuit pieces. And choccy fans definitely like the sound of it, as one person said it was a “bit of me”.

Another exclaimed: “Wow, this sounds amazing.” While someone else wrote: “Just got myself a couple of bars to sample!”
