Mauricio Pochettino ‘leaves Chelsea’ after membership’s end-of-season evaluation

Mauricio Pochettino has left Chelsea by mutual consent following the club’s end of season review, according to the Telegraph.

The former Spurs boss reportedly spoke with club officials on Monday.

Chelsea are reportedly seeking a “young and progressive coach” to take over.

The Blues season has been one of ups and downs as Pochettino’s side lacked consistency over the Premier League campaign.

However, the young side did manage to grab sixth position, which is an improvement on the pervious year.

Pochettino met with co-controlling owner Todd Boehly for dinner last Friday night before meeting with sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley and co-owner Behdad Eghbali this week.
