Luke Littler misses nine-dart try as he crushes Michael Smith to achieve last

Luke Littler has reached the Premier League Darts final after beating Michael Smith 10-5 in the semi-finals.

The 17-year-old sensation is one match away from being crowned the Premier League champion at the O2 Arena where he will face the winner of Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen in the final.

Littler cruised to victory with a 100.77 average and narrowly missed the chance to hit a nine-dart leg when he failed to pin T17 after seven perfect darts.

‘The Nuke’ blew Smith away as he raced into a 4-1 lead after bossing the opening legs which saw him take out the match-highest checkout of 144. Littler remained cool and in control throughout as the big stage yet again failed to faze the teenager.
