Paige VanZant and Elle Brooke faced off for the final time ahead of their Misfits Boxing middleweight female world championship bout – and both donned racy outfits for the event.
Both competitors weighed in at 124.6 pounds before completing their final face-off in stony silence before former UFC fighter VanZant declared it was ‘time for war’. Paige donned a pink 80s aerobic-inspired outfit, while Brooke struck a number of poses for the photographers in a tiny black bra and pants.
After a feisty build-up, the pair did not engage ahead of their X series 15 fight. Champion Brooke simply looked VanZant up and down before walking off.

VanZant makes her debut in the promotion on Saturday evening but has a greater resume of experience after an 8-5 record in MMA and an 0-2 stint in bare-knuckle boxing, The Mirror reports.
Speaking ahead of the bout, VanZant said: “She’s my next opponent so she’s the most important opponent. The most important fight I’ve ever had is the next opponent and I’ve prepared for this fight like a title fight because it is.
“Just because I’m in a different crowd my energy seems reserved but this is what I am. I’m not a s***talker and I’m not an influencer but I’m just going to show up. I don’t anticipate this going the full five rounds just because of the way I’ve prepared.
“I’ve spent five years dedicated to boxing; first bare-knuckle and then this and I can’t wait to show people what I’ve been doing.”
Brooke added: “Even though she says she considers me a professional fighter, she perceives this as an easy fight. She’s been on a losing streak and she sees this as an easy win so she’s definitely underestimating me. She’s done bare-knuckle and UFC but she’s never been in a ring. I think she’s tough so I don’t think I’ll knock her out. If it happens, it happens but I’m expecting a five-round war.”
Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell is also on the card taking on Tristan Hamm. The ex-Pittsburgh Steelers star currently holds a 1-1 record after losing to former UFC fighter Uriah Hall and beating Youtuber JMX.
The 32-year-old will progress in Misfits’ cruiserweight tournament with a win over Canadian influencer Hamm. The outdoor filmmaker knocked out Rodney ‘not Jake Paul’ Peterson in stunning fashion in his only previous fight.
