Model strips to underwear as she requires manufacturers to make use of ‘ extra regular our bodies’

An influencer has voiced her desire for fashion brands to adopt the use of ‘normal bodies’ this week.

The renowned bikini model and designer, Karina Irby, celebrated for her body positive content on Instagram using her @karinairby account, to speak out.

The 34-year-old Australian social media star issued a plea to her vast online community of 1.1 million followers, striving for more ‘normal bodies’ akin to hers to grace storefronts and fashion site homepages.

Demonstrating her point vividly, Karina treated her audience to an alluring photo shoot donning a pink lingerie set from the Lounge Underwear brand. The pictures show the model displaying her natural curves as she gazes directly at the camera lens whilst perched atop a bed.

Accompanying her main pose were close-up stills featuring her stomach and thighs.

For her lingerie showcase, Karina decided on a complementary natural makeup look as her blonde hair cascaded freely in low-maitnenance waves.

Accompanying the post, she penned: “The underwear photos I WISH I saw hanging up in store front and on the homepages of websites. Normalise normal body features.”

Karina’s cry was readily supported by her devoted followers, as evidenced by more than 7,000 likes. One admirer gushed: “You are giving me so much inspiration and confidence…really tho. THANK YOU. This is the work of the goddess.”

This latest endeavour follows after Karina recently enlightened her fans by sharing unedited snaps of her bikini body, reinforcing her measure that ‘cellulite is normal’.
